For more than 30 years, SRS Cinema has carved out its own corner of independent genre film, championing movies that are strange, ambitious, outrageous and proudly outside the mainstream. Since its founding in 1992, the label has amassed an eclectic catalog spanning underground horror, science fiction, cult cinema, shot-on-video rarities, creature features and low-budget filmmaking, with releases from established underground favorites such as the Polonia Brothers alongside a steady stream of new independent discoveries.

SRS Cinema's catalog also reaches well beyond American indie horror. The label has developed a strong following among kaiju and tokusatsu fans by bringing unusual Japanese monster movies and other international genre discoveries to physical media, often giving collectors access to films that have been difficult to find elsewhere. From obscure SOV productions and exploitation oddities to giant monsters, B-movies and contemporary independent horror, SRS Cinema continues to preserve and celebrate the unconventional side of genre filmmaking.
